Are you feeling stuck in old patterns of behavior and feelings? Do you sense there is something missing and that there is more to life than you are currently experiencing? It is not uncommon to go through periods in our lives when we are searching for something more or feeling unhappy with one or more aspects of our life. We each carry within us the seeds to live a full and meaningful life. You do not have to figure it all out by yourself.
In addition to my 30 years of clinical practice working with adults and couples, we have extensive experience and expertise in working with children and adolescents.
Most kids will not ask for help and many parents see it as a personal failure if they take their children to a counselor. There can be nothing further from the truth. It is a sign of maturity and strength to be willing to acknowledge that as parent, we do not have all of the answers, and to seek professional help, whether for your child or yourself.
